Our 12-week summer internships based in Aberdeen are a great opportunity to work at TotalEnergies and gain experience in your field of interest. The program’s design is multifaceted, ensuring you get the opportunities and support you need to grow personally and professionally. This includes training workshops, networking opportunities, tutorials and, where available, access to the site.
There will be an “exercise monitor” to keep you on track throughout the program. They will ensure that you are looked after, understand your duties and encourage your learning and development. You will join us with excellent experience and advanced knowledge of the energy industry. Put your theoretical knowledge to practical application – get more experience than textbooks!

As a Total Energies Intern, you will join our research and manufacturing departments to play a role in our journey towards net zero.
position:
A drilling and well engineering professional will work in the well construction team. This opportunity will provide an introduction to the drilling engineering and well construction process looking at well architecture, trajectories and casing loads using design software. It will also provide insight into offshore drilling options and considerations.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy challenges and embrace opportunities. Our core values are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s important that you know them. We are looking for students:
Studying Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree (completed in 2024)
Our Westhill office, just outside Aberdeen, is available to work during the summer (June to late August).
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, good work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic familiarity with Microsoft applications
